Academies

Overton students have a choice of different academies offering a practical, hands-on approach to learning in fields that interest them. The Academies empower students through career exposure.

Throughout high school, our students are given opportunities to work with our business partners to gain real-world experiences as part of our Nationally Accredited Career Academy programs.  Students participate in job shadows, internships and experiential learning activities as they prepare to earn professional certifications that can count toward college credit.
