Cambridge Demonstration Center
In 2019 Overton was named a Cambridge Assessment International Demonstration Centre, meaning we are a model program for Cambridge in the United States and that we will host other schools that are interested in starting their own Cambridge programs.
Demonstration Centres must meet the highest standards in 5 key areas:

Cambridge AICE Program at John Overton High School
Overton High School invites you to consider us as your school of choice for advanced academics in Nashville. Cambridge is a challenging program of college-prep and college-level courses that is recognized by universities around the world. Similar to International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs, students can earn admission to and course credit at over 450 universities throughout the United States Europe. Overton Cambridge students have been admitted to universities including Vanderbilt, Xavier, Howard, Dartmouth, BYU, Emory, Duke, University of Tennessee, Princeton, Columbia, Georgia, Rhodes, Butler, Wheaton, Michigan, Georgetown, Cornell, and the University of Amsterdam.

Spring 2020 Cambridge Exam Results & AICE Diploma Earners
Congratulations to the Overton students who earned cred of 538 AICE exams across eight subject areas in the spring of 2020. Overton's pass rate is higher than the national average, and students have the opportunity to receive college credit for many of these exams.
Special congratulations to the 22 Overton students who earned the internationally recognized Cambridge AICE Diploma this past spring! These students have passed at least seven college-level course exams over the last two years.
ACT exams
The average ACT score of Overton AICE Diploma earners is 28.
